The LEGO Ideas community continue to pitch the return of Scooby-Doo, hot on the heels of the live-action casting announcement yesterday.
Icerlot on LEGO Ideas has moved from proposing a Supernatural model to something from the world of Scooby Doo. Their A Night of Fright Is No Delight model is based on the first season's 16th episode and uses 3,333 pieces with 10 proposed minifigures, as well as the classic sitting Scooby figure.
The mansion of Colonel Sanders makes up the majority of the build, with plenty of features taken straight from the animated episode. There is also a boat side build to match the source material.
The proposed minifigures include Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, Velma, two ghosts (Mr Crawls and Cosgood Creeps), a standalone Cosgood Creeps minifigure, cousins Simple and Slicker and the ghost of Colonel Sanders.
This project has taken just six months to reach 10,000 supporters and is one of the many models based on Scooby-Doo to make it into a LEGO Ideas review round. None have been approved so far, though.
This latest submission is well-timed, reaching 10,000 supporters just after the first look at Netflix’s upcoming live-action Scooby-Doo series was revealed.
Whether this renewed interest in the property will give the project more of a chance in the second 2026 review round has yet to be seen. For now, it joins 23 other submissions with a chance of being selected for an official set.
